Internal Eligibility Job Application Criteria

Overview

When applying for managerial roles and talent programmes, all candidates must declare that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria (detailed below) to be considered for a new role. Please read this thoroughly to ensure you are eligible to submit your internal application. You should seek any necessary approvals prior to starting your application.

Any false confirmation of eligibility may result in your application being rejected and further action being taken if appropriate.

Full details are in the table below; in brief you will need to ensure that you:

  • Have no live conduct issues
  • Have advised your line manager about your intention to apply for the role
  • Scored at least a “Good” marking in your last full year appraisal (if applying for a promotion)
  • If a current Graduate) You are in the last 6 months of your programme and scored a “Good” marking in your last full year appraisal
  • (If transferring in or out of Wholesale) You must obtain approval from Compliance and follow the mandatory Staff Transfer process

Please read the table below which covers each of the above points in more detail and advises where to go for more information.
