Fleet Maintenance

The Fleet Maintenance team are essential in keeping our 49,000 vehicles operational. Our supply chain is heavily reliant on vans and on our medium and large goods vehicles, and our network of 110 workshops enables it to run continuously, safely and efficiently.

It’s not all about what happens in the workshop either. We have a great variety of technical & non-technical roles available, where people of all experience levels can learn and develop a range of transferable skills. Our people need to be adaptable and strong problem-solvers, since they’re diagnosing and fixing different vehicles, with different issues, every day.

Playing our part

The scale and significance of the team’s work is what makes it so rewarding. Up and down the country, the Fleet Maintenance team is repairing and maintaining the vehicles that carry mail from depots to letterboxes. It's their skill and dedication that means we can run efficiently, but also safely, ensuring that our equipment is fit for our people to use.
