Job Purpose - To provide leadership in all matters relating to testing quality assurance for the Platform. Provide a robust testing function that will support RM to the extent necessary in making any decisions whether to sign off solutions or not.
Key Accountabilities
Own the overall test approach for end-to-end platform solutions and manage the execution of the testing. Including; Unit, Functional Acceptance, System Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, Operational Acceptance, Pre-Production, Performance and Volume test
Define the correct and appropriate utilisation of testing tools for the platform and each project in the platform, including tools for test automation and test management
Liaise with technical architects and technical leads for required technical support during the planning, execution and evaluation of the testing
Ensure best practice test planning and execution by suppliers. Assure the output thereof;
Understand the high level E2E business and technical requirements and intended implementation
Work with different internal technical groups and vendors to ensure sufficient test coverage and quality
Act as single point of contact for the quality of the solution at any given stage
Coordinate and arrange necessary test resources and infrastructure for testing
Ensure platform testing is conducted in line with the in-house methodology
Educate stakeholders in Agile ways of working and the benefits of iterative software delivery
Key dimensions
Operates within platform structure. Ability to work with demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base. Appreciation of how policies and governance are applied to delivery of Waterfall and Agile project/programs. 
Key competencies
Hands On Experience and use of any industry recognised automated testing solution, particularly in the area of performance.
Technically competent with Azure, web server / services, middleware technology, mobile technology Xamarin and APIs
Exposure to database technologies
Strong Analytical skills, preferably developed as part of any performance engineering orientated background
Consultancy experience would be advantageous. 
Experience of working with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Agile training/qualifications or experience incl. Scrum & Kanban
Experience of going through the transformation from Waterfall to Agile  delivery methodologies
