This is a Hybrid Working role with a requirement to attend our London office two days per week during the initial training period, and thereafter, a minimum of three to four days per month.

Reporting into the Director of Investor Relations, acting as their number two, you will support the development and delivery of a comprehensive IR programme, deputising for the IR director as appropriate.


About the role 

You will have end-to-end accountability and responsibility for managing the sellside analyst relationship. You’ll maintain a proactive stance in analyst engagement, answering analyst questions, reviewing models and research notes and managing consensus.

You will also help to develop relationships with investors and effectively communicate the company’s vision and strategy.

You will have substantial input into all aspects of the financial reporting process, including results, trading update,  AGM and annual report. You’ll also participate on investor roadshows and lead IR only investor meetings and promote consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties. 


You will be responsible for financial modelling, analysis, reporting and delivering presentations for internal and external audiences. Alongside this you will monitor market views and provide feedback to the Board and senior management as required. 


You will provide guidance on FCA and other rules, regulations, guidelines, and market best practice when required. We’d also love to have your ideas and input on how to improve the IDS plc IR programme. You’ll continuously strive to deepen your knowledge of all aspects of the business.


About you
To truly excel in this role, you’ll possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:


•    ACA, CFA qualified (or other relevant qualification)
•    Prior, strong experience of Investor Relations either at an advisory firm or working at a FTSE100/250 company, or experience of investment banking/broking or fund management
•    Proactive, resilient, and positive work ethic
•    Knowledge of FCA and other rules, regulations, and guidelines
•    Excellent analytical skills
•    Mathematics or economics background
•    PowerPoint, Excel, and Word excellence 
•    Strong communication skills and ability to work with business colleagues of various levels – including senior and executive management.
