We have two new exciting vacancies for HR Systems Subject Matter Experts within (SAP Workflow and Interfaces) to support our new Pensions Scheme at Royal Mail.

 

As SME, you will ensure the continuing performance and maintenance of all SAP HCM solutions within Royal Mail Group and act as the interface between the customer and third-party suppliers (E.g. HCL CSC, SAP) to develop systems in accordance with customer requirements and business standards.

About the role

 

You will work proactively with the business to capture and document business requirements in a clear and concise fashion. 

 

Define requirements for improving business processes and systems including quantification of potential benefits.

 

Ensure team Service Level Agreements are met in by effective prioritisation of own workload

 

You will provide planning and execution of test activity for all systems changes (including changes arising from defect resolution).

 

Provide support and advice to the HR Shared Service Centre and the local BUs to ensure that processes are understood and system usage can be optimised.

 

Management of system change requests through the System Development Lifecycle.

 

Liaisons with stakeholders in terms of ensuring problems are addressed in the most effective manner and minimisation of repeat issues.

 

You will build and maintain effective working relationships with the external IT teams to ensure the Business and Developers work in partnership where appropriate to deliver best practice processes. This includes building and maintaining trust and credibility with individuals at all levels of seniority across the organisation.

 

The role will be expected to interface with senior stakeholders in HR Pensions across RMG business units.

 

You must have the ability to work in high-pressure role with committed deadlines, ability to work with multiple customer solutions at the same time and the ability to focus and take ownership to ensure delivery of key solutions to customers.


About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes;

 

•    Experience of working with HR Systems and delivering system changes
•    To be able to demonstrate a ‘trouble shooting’ analytical ability. 
•    Have produced and developed business requirements documentation to enable application enhancement and development.
•    Proven stakeholder management at various levels and supplier management to effectively negotiate and influence individuals and teams.
•    Strong analytical skills combined with good communications skills (verbal and written).
•    Good organisational skills and track record of delivering to tight deadlines whilst working flexibly to meet the needs of customers
•    An understanding of HR Payroll / Pension processes is desirable.
•    Good level of Microsoft office skills.
