We have an exciting opportunity within our Centre of Excellence team in the role of Business Change Lead based in either Chesterfield or London.


About the role


The purpose of the Business Change Lead role is to define and implement the change management work stream plans of individual projects, whilst working with programme and project managers to ensure that change management plans are fully embedded, executed and delivered. 


You will undertake scoping and definition of change management requirements for projects and will construct plans specific to the requirements of each individual project. A key responsibility of the role will be to manage the end to end business change aspects of a project, from change planning, impact assessing and communicating to stakeholders.


Evaluating the effectiveness of change interventions and recommending changes, you will be able to influence senior budget holders to invest in change network resources. You will also support portfolio management of the wider Business Change Management team, whilst developing measures and controls to ensure the successful implementation of change programmes and their ongoing sustainability.


Alongside this, you will identify and manage risks associated with change management and mitigate them accordingly whilst also contributing to the development of the Business Change Management team.

About You


You will be a strong listener and will be able to adapt to different working styles, build strong relationships, manage stakeholders and influence at all levels.

You will have hands on experience of change management delivery, with excellent knowledge of change management methodologies and the application of change management frameworks, tools and techniques including understanding of org design/process/workflow changes, training processes / different communication methods.

Your excellent planning and organisational skills will ensure the production and maintenance of business unit change management plans and documentation and will be reinforced by your business knowledge and awareness.

You will be skilled in the use of project management techniques and will have the gravitas to challenge, manage and influence stakeholders at programme director level.

Resilient in your approach, you will display a high degree of flexibility and adaptability and the ability to deal with ambiguity. 

You will be flexible and able to travel, should the project require you to do so.
