Our Work

Projects and Programmes Delivery

From the start of the pandemic, it was critical that all operational workers could access PPE, but without reliable data on stock levels at each site, there was a risk of shortages in some sites and surpluses in others. The business urgently needed a near real-time view of stock levels to inform better distribution decisions, against a backdrop of a limited world-wide supply.

We needed to create a mobile app with a very simple user experience for data capture alongside a central, easy-to-interpret dashboard. A prototype was built in two days and the mobile and desktop app was made available to 1,800 sites in just two weeks.

Our People

Laura McCulloch - Business Domain Architect

“Before joining Royal Mail, I studied Modern Language. I didn’t have a career in mind when I finished, but choosing Royal Mail gave me diverse opportunities across the business. As a Business Analyst, I got the opportunity to lead the design of one of our most used customer applications. After two years, I was promoted to Business Solutions Lead. I have shaped a number of strategic changes for the business. I’m proud that the work that I’m doing has an impact across the UK and my friends and family can see the exciting things I’m involved in.”

We're proactive about learning

"Training is quite a big thing for me and it's really good at RMG. They’re very proactive about putting you on courses and promoting you to go on them – also the people at RMG are so friendly, I have not met anyone who isn’t helpful, even if you have never met them, they’re open to you asking questions and helping you out, yet you’re also trusted to get on with things, not micromanaged."
