Job title – Lead Product Owner - Platform Management
 
By joining the RMG Tech team, you will be driving meaningful change and pushing forward our continued transformation. You will be joining a growing, developing team who are delivering large scale changes. You’ll need to be a strong self-starter who is able to lead and drive our transition to more efficient ways of working.  
 
Your role will be to maintain our delivery capability on a core platform. You will ensure there is strong engagement with business/portfolios and provide clear communication routes to the scrum teams across the platforms. You will also lead on governance for the quality of platform backlog ensuring there is sufficient well-defined epics/features to feed the capacity of the teams

 

You will capture and articulate business priorities at a platform level – working with stakeholders and platforms to define the value and build business cases, while acting as a single point of contact across several platform areas – drawing together a product/project view of the change. You will also build functional delivery roadmaps that split across multiple teams

About you:
 
You will have awareness of the commercial implications of decisions, both in terms of cost and benefit to an organisation, and an ability to both communicate and influence these elements of a project/programme. You will have experience coordinating the work of business analysts/product owners to produce a coherent set of deliverables. You will have proven experience of:

 

 

  • Managing development teams using agile delivery working practises
  • A variety of tools, techniques, and methodologies for structured analysis, including requirements management, business process analysis and information modelling. Comfortable with both agile and waterfall delivery approaches.
  • Digitally enabled delivery, including customer-centric and user-centric design.
  • Understanding the constraints of technology-supported change and be able to incorporate these into the requirements definition process
