We’re seeking a Controls Manager to join our Finance Ledgers & Assets team. If you have a strong accounting background (part or fully qualified) and can communicate effectively at all levels, we’d love to hear from you!
 

About the Role
Reporting to the Heads of Assets and Ledgers, you will oversee trading revenue audits, ensure compliance in the sales commission incentives programme, and support wider financial controls.
 

Key responsibilities:
•    Review commission programme governance, advising senior leaders.
•    Audit commission claims to manage risk.
•    Ensure governance in sales commission auditing (Royal Mail & third-party agencies).
•    Collaborate with senior teams to improve commission programme governance.
•    Resolve billing and sales commission issues across the business.
•    Reconcile revenue postings with billing data.
•    Act as the main contact for revenue recognition testing during external audits.
•    Support compliance and controls testing within Finance.
 

About You
•    Part or fully qualified accountant (or relevant experience).
•    Strong numeracy and reconciliation skills.
•    Analytical mindset to interpret complex financial data.
•    Strong interpersonal and influencing skills—able to simplify complex information.
•    High standards of integrity and quality.
•    Experience in managing complex commission payment schemes (desirable).
