Have you got a background in finance and strong communication skills? Are you passionate about identifying and fixing problems? If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a International Finance Team Leader to join our International Shared Service function.
 

About the Role
Reporting into the International Settlements Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small finance team within the International Shared Service function.
You will also:
•    Reconcile commercial accounts from multiple data sources.
•    Cash forecast for the submission to the wider finance function.
•    Implement and ensure adherence to controls.
•    Reconcile the international balance sheet codes and provide commentary for actual variances.
•    Prepare and sign off period end accruals.
•    Partner with International Operations to ensure compliance to accounting data provision. 

 

About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

•    AAT Qualified or final level preferred but QBE will be considered
•    Systems and data mindset including SAP, Qlikview, Advanced Excel, and other international systems.
•    Able to work across different functions to identify and fix problems.
•    Attention to detail and the desire to delve into problems.
•    Track record of reviewing and implementing process improvements.
•    Effective organisation skills to manage priorities – team leadership, period end, SOX, international projects. 
•    Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
