Have you got a significant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis? Do you have strong stakeholder management skills including the ability influence individuals up to Executive Board level. If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for an FP&A Lead in Operations.

 

About the Role
Reporting into the Director of FP&A you will lead in the financial analysis for your specific business area. This is a business-critical role where you will have great exposure to senior leaders across Royal Mail. You will also have the opportunity the progress through a large finance function.

 

You will also:
•    Lead on monthly management reporting and analysis presenting to the functional FD, UK Executive board, and the plc Board. 
•    Develop a team of 3 to deliver the required performance objectives. 
•    Work closely with the External Reporting and Continuous Improvement Leads to drive simplification. 
•    Collaborate with other FP&A team leads and Finance Directors and be accountable for functional, Group budget, business plan and forecasting processes. 
•    Take ownership of the effectiveness of the FP&A and wider finance function, understanding and communicating key variances to senior business stakeholders.

 

About You
To truly excel in this role, you will possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

•    Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
•    Strong systems and data skills
•    Ability to work at pace and meet tight deadlines effectively and efficiently.
•    High levels of attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to assimilate data quickly and effectively.
•    Strong team leadership skills
•    Highly developed analytical skills
