With around 1850 properties, Royal Mail’s property estate is one of the largest in Europe. Royal Mails Property and Facilities Solutions is responsible for upgrading and maintaining the safety all of our buildings and provides a support service to the business. 
 
To ensure the high standards are sustained, we have a vacancy for a Facilities Management Works Administrator based within the National Service Centre (NSC) in Leeds.
 
The role
Working in a fast-paced environment, with demanding timescales, you’ll provide a comprehensive administrative service to the NSC with a focus on delivering order requests within Service Level Agreements and targets.

 

Duties include updating jobs on various IT systems, monitoring the progression of tasks, processing timesheets for staff, raising purchase orders, ordering hire equipment, using management information for data analysis, producing ID cards for the business, and assisting with H&S and HR paperwork.  

Additionally, you’ll support several ad-hoc projects requests to include Christmas demand.  You’ll manage inbound/outbound enquires (via phone/email inboxes) in a timely and professional manner, develop effective relationships with internal and external colleagues, ensuring work requests are completed compliantly and on time.


Flexibility is key as you’ll be expected to cover varying tasks as required including annual leave cover and volume demands across other team areas. 


Attendance - Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00


About you
You need to demonstrate the following skills and experience on your CV:

  • Administrative skills (beneficial).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office packages to include excel, with excellent keyboard skills. 
  • A passion for customer service.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to attend the Leeds office 3-5 days a week.

 
Location
- Leeds Mail Centre

We are operating a hybrid approach to attendance, and you will be required to be in the Leeds office 3 days a week with home/remote working option for the remaining 2 days.  All training will be conducted on site in Leeds (full time for the duration of the training). Please note, this hybrid approach may change, subject to business requirements.  Leeds Mail Centre is located just off the M1 and has on-site parking for its staff. Its within proximity to the city centre and has a frequent public transport links.
