Daisy is a transformational programme in Royal Mail which will result in significant change affecting our operational networks, commercial offering, our people, and our customers. The commercial strand will deliver several key areas.  One of these areas will be developing and managing the customer migration strategy, from creation to delivery. These customers will range from strategic through to retail customers.  


This role is responsible for managing consumer and business customers, pricing communications, supporting account migration to drive incremental revenue across both Royal Mail and Parcelforce, in-line with the commercial plan. 

 

About the role

 

• Manage the relationship between customer communications, marketing, sales teams to support the delivery of incremental revenue for RMG. This role works closely with Heads of, Senior Pricing Managers, Senior product Managers as well as key stakeholders in Sales and Customer

• Liaise with the Data team to support audience segmentation and targeting for customer comms activity, ensuring GDPR and legal compliance across all campaign channels. 
• Working with Sales Leadership Team and their teams to understand their requirements for communications, maximising sales engagement with product collateral in service proposition and pricing activity by delivering f2f, written and online sales briefings, (typically on all hands and champions calls to over 100 salespeople) as well as supporting sales tools, and initiatives.

• Manage the approval process to include key senior stakeholders such as Brand, Legal, PR etc. 
• Briefing of senior stakeholders including Sales, Product and marketing Directors, customer service leadership teams, marketing leadership teams, sales, and operations on marketing activities. 

• Flexibility to support other key marketing & sales priorities as required.

 

About you

 

• Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the business, including products, marketing, sales, Pricing and legal
• Ability to prioritise key sales communications activities across various stakeholders
• Knowledge of key media channels and metrics. Covering: advertising, digital, direct marketing, email marketing automation, print across both B2B and B2C. 
• Ability to judge and provide recommendations on creative, content and design work. 
• Excellent written skills, analytical, planning and presentation skills. 
• Excellent decision-making skills, ability to prioritise and work in a high-pressure environment with minimal direction

 

Experience: 

 

• Proven experience in the development and management of successful integrated sales & customer campaigns working across all various channels
• Ability to manage a number of various stakeholders simultaneously to deliver to deadlines.
• Experience of complex stakeholder management, including at Senior level (e.g., Sales and Product and Customer Experience staff)
