Job title – Customer Solutions Consultant
 
By joining the RMG Senior Management Tech team, you will be driving meaningful change and pushing forward our continued transformation. You will be joining a growing, developing team who are delivering large scale changes. You’ll need to be a strong self-starter who is able to lead and drive our transition to more efficient ways of working.  
 
Your role will be to work with others to ensure the data assets of our organization are supported by an architecture that allows RMG to achieve its strategic goals, to provide detailed data mappings between interfaces and applications, to provide information and reporting for internal and external use as requested, to manage updates of reference data, & to engage in customer take-on projects delivering excellent customer service and focus. .
 
The team are currently working on some really exciting projects and have >£10m investment to replace our shipping systems. They also work with major account customers like Boohoo and Amazon. The team also have a great track record of developing and training people.

About you:
 
You’ll be passionate about data assets being developed with a robust, flexible, industry standard data management solution, supported within RMG architecture. Being responsible for maintaining, developing, and improving Royal Mail technology solutions and processes, and develop and maintain formal description of the data and data structures (i.e., data definitions, logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams). You will be tasked with providing input to key strategic and commercial initiatives and projects, working closely with senior stakeholders within the business. You will have proven experience of:

 

 

  • Working with external customers and suppliers to deliver excellent service
  • Supporting Master Data Management.
  • Database structures, data analysis, data modelling
  • Delivery of process improvement activity both in a project and BAU environment
  • REST and SOAP APIs and API management platforms
  • Delivering technology projects
  • SQL
