Reporting into the Director of Import Products & Solutions, this exciting new opportunity as Import Marketing and Communications Manager, is dynamic and innovative role responsible for developing and executing marketing and communication strategies and activities to promote our global import services and products to both existing and potential customers in target overseas markets, 
This is a Hybrid working role with a requirement to attend our Farringdon office, Midlands Superhub and some International travel, with flexibility required in line with business needs. 
 

 

About the role

  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies by region and target countries to drive overseas brand awareness and import customer acquisition.
  • Manage the production of customer-facing import product materials such as brochures, flyers, and product & service user-guides. Create compelling content for our website, targeted overseas social media channels, and other marketing platforms.
  • Identify, plan and manage events in target markets, including trade shows and conference, with data and metrics evaluated on the success of events and recommendations for future plans.
  • Collaborate with the import sales, account, and solutions team to develop sales collateral and support their efforts.
  • Conduct international import parcel market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Analyse marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of overseas campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work with group-level marketing and communications teams to align import communications strategies and plans.
  • Build and maintain overseas relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners. Oversee the planning and execution of overseas marketing events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget

 

About You

To truly excel in this role, you’ll possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

 

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Knowledge of cross-border parcel market dynamics, overseas competition, and customer behaviour
  • Knowledge of the universal postal service and commercial sweet spots across both UPU and commercial flows is a plus, though not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with social media management and digital marketing tools
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Foreign language capability will be a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
