About the job:


You will be a subject matter expert in your technology tower. You will be responsible for delivering infrastructure improvement programmes with accountability for budgets up to £1million and will be required to liaise with numerous stakeholders (via recognised governance forums). Key Accountabilities:


You will shape and deliver technology enabled business transformation from concept to deployment, define, communicate and maintain the strategic roadmap of change across the portfolio and have ownership of all IT elements of the business cases created within the scope of the portfolio. You will build and manage relationships with senior business stakeholders at the Executive Board level and their leadership teams. Shape and deliver agreed technology initiatives in support of the business and technology strategies.

 

You will also be promoting the collaborative working practices across business functions, IT directorates and suppliers to ensure successful alignment and delivery of the nosiness and IT priorities. Proactively identify and assess the complex technical and business ideas, leveraging knowledge of the functional domains to identify benefit opportunities and provide relevant solution options and recommendations. 

 

You will create and develop high performing individuals and teams, requesting and approving appointment of individuals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and skills within the project portfolio, setting the objectives, and providing performance feedback. You will proactively coordinate activities and interdependencies, including management of risks, integrations, and third-party contributions, to implement complex interrelated projects from concept to final operations stage. Helping to define and subsequent delivery against the business parameters, managing the technology budget and ensuring that technology benefits are realised in line with the plan.
