Are you looking for a career that delivers more? At Royal Mail, we are looking for ambitious and experienced pensions administrators to help us deliver the outstanding service our members deserve and expect.

You will join our talented teams, helping calculate the benefits for members for our existing DB plan. We’re a team that supports each other and you will have a lot of opportunities to develop your skills and take on new challenges across the wider business. If you have a proven track record as an experienced pensions administrator and you want to be part of something special and then we’d love to hear from you.

About the role
As a Pensions Administrator, you will calculate and process benefits for our members based on their entitlements under the plans. This role is all about people and you’ll often engage directly with our members to answer their queries and help them understand their benefit entitlements.

This is a key appointment for the pensions team and you will play an integral role in delivering a first class service to members of the Royal Mail Pension Plan.

Alongside your day-to-day work, you will get the chance to help deliver our major scheme events and have the time and responsibility to identify how we can improve what we do and deliver better. We will also give you ownership over your own development, exposing you to interesting work, letting you plan your own workload (to meet service standards) and giving you the opportunity to study for an industry-recognised pension qualification.

About You
We are looking for flexible team players with experience of delivering a professional, member-focused service – in either (or both) DB and DC pension schemes. Ideally, you will already have a professional pensions qualification, but we can help you train towards it if not.

On top of having a pensions administrator background, you will need to have proven experience of delivering a professional, customer focussed service with strong numeracy, written and verbal skills.

Bonus and Pay Progression

Your pay progression and starting salary will be determined by your experience, performance, and the qualifications you have and earn.
