Location: You will expected to attend Royal Mail Pond Street, Sheffield, S98 6HR 2/3 days per week.

About the role
As a Pensions Administrator, you will calculate, and process benefits for our members based on their entitlements under the plans. This role is all about people and you’ll often engage directly with our members to answer their queries and help them understand their benefit entitlements.
Alongside your day-to-day work, you will get the chance to help deliver our major scheme events and have the time and responsibility to identify how we can improve what we do and deliver better. We will also give you ownership over your own development, exposing you to interesting work, letting you plan your own workload (to meet service standards) and giving you the opportunity to study for an industry-recognised pension qualification.
About You
We’re looking for brilliant and flexible team players with experience of delivering a professional, member-focused pensions service or an expectational administrator who is open to learning new skills. You will need strong English language and maths skills as a minimum and you’ll thrive in this role if you’re a great communicator with a keen attention to detail.
You will be able to demonstrate the following at interview:
- Strong English Language and Mathematics skills
- Possess or be willing to study for a professional pensions or payroll qualification via a Workplace Pensions Apprenticeship scheme.
- Proven experience of delivering a professional, customer focussed service.
- Strong numeracy skills
- Demonstrably strong written and verbal communication skills
- A track record of working flexibly to ensure that customer requirements are delivered.
- In-depth knowledge of all Microsoft Office software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
