Are you looking for a career that delivers more? At Royal Mail, we’re proud to be the UK’s first company offering a new type of pension to colleagues. We’re looking for ambitious and experienced pensions administrators, or administration professionals looking to move into this area, to help us deliver the outstanding service our members deserve and expect.

You’ll join one of our enthusiastic and talented teams, helping calculate the benefits for members of our new pension plan or our existing DB plan. We’re a team that supports each other and you’ll have a lot of opportunities to develop your skills and take on new challenges across the wider team. If you want to be part of something special and develop your career, then we’d like to hear from you.

About the role
As a Pensions Administrator, you’ll calculate and process benefits for our members based on their entitlements under the plans. This role is all about people and you’ll often engage directly with our members to answer their queries and help them understand their benefit entitlements.

Alongside your day-to-day work, you’ll get the chance to help deliver our major scheme events and have the time and responsibility to identify how we can improve what we do and deliver better. We’ll also give you ownership over your own development, exposing you to interesting work, letting you plan your own workload (to meet service standards) and giving you the opportunity to study for an industry-recognised pension qualification.

About You
We’re looking for brilliant and flexible team players with experience of delivering a professional, member-focused service – in either (or both) DB and DC pension schemes. Ideally, you’ll already have a professional pensions qualification, but we can help you train towards it if not.

You’ll definitely need strong English language and maths skills as a minimum and you’ll thrive in this role if you’re a great communicator with a keen attention to detail. If this sounds like you and you’re ready to come and help us exceed our members’ expectations, then we’d love to hear from you.

Bonus and Pay Progression

Your pay progression and starting salary will be determined by your experience, performance, and the qualifications you have and earn. You could also be eligible for £1500 Welcome bonus payable on successful completion of probation. We also offer bonuses of up to £1,200 (4x £300 each quarter) depending on performance.
