We are seeking an experienced Privacy Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis, contributing to the enhancement of our privacy management program and ensuring robust data protection practices.

About the role

  • As Privacy Manager  you’ll embed privacy principles across our Royal Mail  business units and work closely with senior leadership teams , internal and external stakeholders to elevate our privacy posture.
  • Partner with business units to embed privacy management, assess risk, and drive compliance.
  • Confident presenter and influencer,  the role will involuve engagement with Senior Management up to and including Board members. You will  present complex and difficult messages clearly and with impact, using a range of approaches to gain commitment.
  • Lead privacy assurance assessments, guide privacy compliance strategy, and deliver targeted training.
  • Use tools like OneTrust to manage risk registers, the privacy programme and report on compliance.
  • Design and deliver privacy projects to strengthen compliance, enable transformation and keep pace with change.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory changes to safeguard privacy standards.

 

About You

To be successful you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • 3+ years in data protection, with strong influencing skills and a CIPPE or ISEB qualification preferred.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex issues and implement pragmatic privacy solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and project oversight skills.
