Talent Acquisition Data Analyst
£24,000 plus quaterly bonus potential, 25 days annual leave (with an option to purchase up to 5 additional days), plus bank holidays, and a company pension scheme with highly competitive contribution rates

This is a Hybrid Working role with a requirement to attend our Sheffield office a minimum of two days per week, with flexibility required in line with business needs.

Are you experienced in data analytics and maintenance, with a real focus on attention to detail and data accuracy? Do you have Advanced Excel skills or equivalent? If so, I would love to hear from you. 


Reporting into the People and Analytics Manager, you will support the collection, maintenance, and analysis of HR and people data within Royal Mail.

 

About the role 
•    Assist in generating and maintaining HR reports, dashboards, and data analysis for internal stakeholders to a pre-defined schedule of reporting
•    Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current reporting and adapt and amend reporting to ensure the reports meet customer’s needs
•    Support data analysis and the creation of new metrics and insights to improve HR processes and workforce planning
•    Assist with identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement, contribute to providing actionable insights to enhance our resourcing strategies and candidate engagement
•    Collaborate with the team to ensure reporting is aligned with business objectives
•    Undertake regular training and workshops with the People and Analytics team to advance your own, and collective knowledge and skills to further team aims

 

About you
To truly excel in role, you will possess the necessary skills and experienced listed below 

 

•    Advanced level Excel skills (or equivalent), familiar with data reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar systems
•    Experience in data analytics and maintenance
•    Strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy
•    Basic understanding of HR and recruitment practices
•    Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
•    Experience with SAP HCM or similar systems is a plus
•    Ability and willingness to learn new data reporting and analytics processes and skills
